The effects of the earthquake and tsunami on Lexus
The first priority for Lexus and parent company Toyota Motor Corporation (MTC) is to supprt the relief efforts in the affected areas of the earthquakes and tsunamis. They are also ensuring the safety of all employees, including employees at subsidiary vehicle manufacturers, their suppliers and their respective family members.
Production has been halted at all plants in Japan including subsidiary vehicle manufacturers from the 22nd to 26th March.
We continue to assess the long term impact this natural disaster will have on our operations.
