LBX Morizo RR redefines high-performance compact luxury
The Lexus LBX Morizo RR has arrived in Australia.
Just as the First-Ever LBX last year altered perceptions on how much luxury and refinement could be packaged into a stylish compact SUV, the LBX Morizo RR reimagines sophisticated high-performance for this class of car.
Global Chairman Mr Akio Toyoda loves the Lexus he helped develop so much that he bestowed it with the Morizo tag – reserved exclusively for the select few cars he deems worthy of a place in his personal garage.
Powering the LBX Morizo RR is a 1.6-litre turbocharged inline three-cylinder petrol engine producing 206kW at 6500rpm and 390Nm of torque from 3250-4600rpm, accelerating from zero to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds.
A sophisticated AWD system automatically distributes the front-rear torque according to road conditions and grip, with the standard Torsen®1 limited-slip differential on the rear axle adding to the driving thrills.
Combined with trademark Lexus elegance and comfort, the result is a small luxury car with the impeccable manners of a perfect dinner host and precision power and performance of a judo master.
Lexus Australia Chief Executive John Pappas said the LBX Morizo RR is one of the most exciting Lexus vehicles to be launched this decade.

The flagship LBX will be built in limited volume, priced at $76,490 excluding on-road costs2, and brings the number of LBX grades to three as Lexus continues to expand its range to meet the diverse needs of customers.
The compact SUV’s introduction last March was warmly received, appealing instantly to customers looking for a luxury small car with loads of style, personality and substance. Many of the 1,470 LBX examples delivered in 2024 were to first-time Lexus new car buyers.
The LBX Luxury 2WD, priced from $47,550 plus on-road costs2, offers an impressive array of features, including LED headlamps with Adaptive High-beam3, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler and privacy glass.
The LBX Sports Luxury – offered in both 2WD and AWD – is even more generously equipped, adding comfort and convenience features such as touch-sensitive steering wheel controls, Lexus Teammate Advanced Park3 and 13-speaker Mark Levinson®4 Premium Audio system.
In just 12 months the LBX has established itself as a key model in the Lexus range, accounting for over 10 per cent of Lexus deliveries as the luxury brand looks for continued success in its 35th year in Australia.
